UNIQUE NECKLACE
A modern interpretation of Erzgebirge craftsmanship—with a deep appreciation for tradition and handcrafted artistry. This necklace combines sustainable, contemporary design with traditional, handcrafted trimmings.
Necklace with spindle trees and hand-knotted cord
The hand-knotted cord was crafted using the Japanese Kumihimo knotting technique. The spindle trees from the Erzgebirge region are hand-turned and are typically part of a pyramid. The necklace is entirely handmade!
There are many ways to wear it: the trees are not fixed in place; you can slide them back and forth along the cord. You can also remove individual trees from the necklace (see photos).
The necklace is available in 2 versions:
No. 1: Necklace length approx. 55 cm/ 22 inch
Material: 9 wooden trees, plastic threads
The yellow thread in the braided necklace comes from a former potato net and has been upcycled in the spirit of sustainability.
No. 2: Necklace length approx. 65 cm/ 26 inch
Material: 11 wooden trees, cotton and silk threads
